What personal data we collect

We collect personal data when you use this website in the following ways:

• Product enquiries: when you use the enquiry form on a product page, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and details of the item you are asking about.
• General contact: when you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: if you choose to subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address. This is entirely separate from any enquiry or contact form — we only add you to our mailing list if you have actively signed up for it.
• Appointment bookings: when our appointment booking system is available, we will collect your name, contact details, and appointment preferences in order to arrange your visit.

Our Mother of the Bride and occasion wear range is by appointment only and does not involve online payment. For our Fashion and Footwear & Accessories ranges, online payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details — these are handled directly by Stripe in line with their own privacy policy.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

• To respond to your enquiries and messages — legal basis: legitimate interest in dealing with customer questions.
• To arrange and manage appointments — legal basis: taking steps at your request prior to a possible in-store purchase.
• To send you our newsletter — legal basis: your consent, given when you subscribe. You can withdraw this at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us directly.

Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party services in running this website, each of which may process personal data as part of that service:

• Our web hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf to keep the site and our enquiry/newsletter systems running.
• Google, via the Google Maps embed on our Contact page and the Google Reviews shown on our homepage.
• Google Merchant Center and Google Ads, via the Google for WooCommerce plugin, which we use to list our products in Google’s shopping and advertising services.
• Once the newsletter is connected to Brevo or MailerLite, this section will name whichever service is used to manage our email newsletter.
• Stripe, who process online payments for purchases made through this website.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Cookies

This website uses cookies set by WordPress and WooCommerce for the site to function correctly, and cookies set by third-party embedded content such as Google Maps and our Google Reviews widget.

How long we keep your data

We do not keep enquiry and contact form submissions for longer than necessary, and in any case no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask us what personal data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Withdraw consent at any time (for example, to stop receiving our newsletter)
• Object to how we use your data
